What the pallet specification includes
A pallet quote is only comparable when the pallet is fully described. Each Iberian Olive offer states:
- Bottle model, material and volume; closure type
- Units per case and case dimensions
- Cases per layer and number of layers
- Total units and litres per pallet
- Gross weight per pallet and pallet type
- Labelling: supplier brand or your private label
- Legal category, harvest, lot and certificate of analysis of the oil inside
How to calculate cost per bottle
The delivered cost of one bottle is the sum of a few blocks, and it is worth separating them when you compare offers:
- Oil — litres × density (≈ 0.915 kg/L) × origin price per kg.
- Packaging — bottle, closure, label, case.
- Filling and palletisation.
- Transport and Incoterm — spread across the units on the pallet or truck.
Smaller bottles carry more packaging cost per litre; that is normal, and it is why the 250 ml format sits in a different price bracket per litre than the 1 L.

Indicative. Average density 0.915 kg/L at 20 °C; olive oil is quoted per kilo. “Oil per bottle” is the oil only: no packaging, filling, freight or taxes. Bottle counts assume a theoretical fill with no losses.
From one pallet to a full truck
A standard European trailer (13.6 m) takes 33 Euro pallets on the floor. With liquids, weight usually becomes the limit before floor space does, so the number of pallets per truck is confirmed in the offer. Full truck loads reduce freight cost per bottle and are the usual choice for regular replenishment.
